Every single pat needs to be removed from the cabinet when changing a heat exchanger. It can take a few hours.
If you are having snow removal done in deep snow, be sure that the heavy equipment operator is aware of your air conditioner location!

This secondary heat exchanger should be nice, shiny metal. Instead it’s blanketed in pet hair and dust, causing the unit to overheat frequently.

This air conditioning coil was frozen solid, solely due to a dirty
filter. The ice build up can cause extreme stress on your equipment and
in this case led to a leak which damaged the drywall of the ceiling
below. Changing your filters frequently is far cheaper than this result!
An improperly sloped vent will freeze and block the venting with ice. Safeties within the furnace won’t allow the unit to run in this condition.
A leaking air conditioner caused water to leak into the ductwork below, which happened to hold all of the water, but caused a rusty mess.
